The Barking Spider
The Barking Spider Tavern is an old style bar that probably could use a bit of updating. The place has a friendly feel and many regulars frequent the spot and have for many years. The owner, John, started up the bar when he was in his thirties and has kept it going for about twenty years or so. It’s had its ups and downs like all businesses do. Ten years ago the place was a thriving establishment with a constant flow of people and exciting times. Plans were set into the works to revive the bar, adding in some new dart boards, pool tables, and tv’s to help give the place a fresher feel. Unfortunately those plans never fully got underway before Bastian disappeared and the bar hit a bit of a slump.

Now John, getting tired with his years and struggling health, doesn’t have the strength to run the bar like he used to. His daughter in law, or close enough to it, has helped to keep the bar running but it’s obvious that the old mans feel towards the place has weaned a bit. The bar has cut back on hours and tends to be open mostly for the busier weekend hours. Though he has been known to open the bar during the week for regulars that ask for it.

Still even a bit outdated the bar is always clean, friendly, and inviting. Serving good drinks for a good price and serving them with a smile on their faces.
